About Us

In April 2022, few of us began gathering weekly in the house of one of the families living in Kengeri in order to study the Bible. Our desire and goal through the study was to see a church gathered in this neighborhood of Kengeri.

What began as a Bible study eventually became a gathering of a church in November 2022. Though initially we were an unnamed church in Kengeri, the Lord led us to towards christening the congregation as Hope Reformed Baptist Church in March 2023. And we formally covenanted as a church on January 26th, 2024.

On any given Sunday, this is what we do:

• Children Sunday School at 9:15am
• Morning Gathering at 10:30am
• Evening Prayer (2nd and 4th Sundays) at 5:00pm

The Word of God is central to our gathering. Therefore, we sing the Word, we pray the Word, we preach and hear the Word, and we see and partake of the promises of the Word in the Lord’s Supper.

After our gathering, most members meet one another over lunch to discuss the sermon and its application.

During the week, the members of the church meet one another individually to pray, to read God’s Word, read good Christian literature, and spend time in fellowship with one another. This is how we engage in personal discipleship to help one another grow to the full measure of Christ.

We also gather on Friday Evenings at 6:00pm for our Foundations classes where we study Christian Truths essential for life.
